SYSADVANCE is proud to participate in this successful project as a partner supplier of Biogas Upgrading technology.

The LIFE Landfill Biofuel project, funded by the European Commission with 4,67 million euros, has set a milestone in the use of waste for the production of renewable energy and its use in mobility. The initiative was visited by the project’s external monitor NEEMO (European monitoring body for LIFE projects), Filipa Ferrao, who was accompanied by the project advisor from EASME (European Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises of the European Commission), Mario Lionetti, and representatives of Spanish and Portuguese companies participating in the project: FCC Medio Ambiente, Fundación Cartif, IVECO, Gasnam-Neutral Transport, SYSADVANCE and the University of Granada.

The objective of LIFE Landfill Biofuel, which started in 2020 and will end this year, is to demonstrate the feasibility of implementing new cost-effective methodologies for the exploitation of waste to improve the production and recovery of landfill biogas. In addition, the project focuses on the application of advanced technologies for the processing of this biogas to produce high quality biomethane, suitable for use as vehicle fuel.

The Energy division of SYSADVANCE can supply a variety of technologies focused on energy transition and circular economy, always according to the needs of each client, namely METHAGEN Biogas Purification systems, both from anaerobic digestion and landfill for production of high purity Biomethane.
