SYSADVANCE, a leading technological player in Gas separation by VPSA Technology, is proud to announce a contract for a METHAGEN Biogas upgrading unit, to be installed at CR&R Biogas production site in California USA.
The Biogas Upgrading system METHAGEN, to be provided by SYSADVANCE, will be the final step in upgrading the biogas, along with a water scrubbing system supplied by Greenlane Biogas.
This 2-stage VPSA METHAGEN system will allow the removal of Oxygen and Nitrogen, from the gas stream, allowing the final purified Biomethane to meet the demanding standard of Rule 30 for gas grid injection. The O2 removal efficiency is high, while reducing this contaminant to the ppm(v) level in the final product gas. At the same time, the polishing process rejects a significant part of the N2 content from the feed avoiding it concentration in the gas product.
This project is done under the cooperation agreement celebrated in 2015 between SYSADVANCE and Greenlane Biogas.
